These beautiful valleys are considered the most breathtaking places in Pakistan. Both of them are full of lush green trees, mountains and majestic lakes. Near Mansehra city, with a peak of 2400 meters, Naran Valley is located. For a night’s stay, Shogran and Naran are the best destinations, with various types of hotels available. The nightlife is amazing, horse riding, jeep ride for Siri Paye, and Saif-ul-Malook are available. In this article, we will discuss the top places in Naran Kaghan.

Shogran Valley is one of the top places

Shogran Valley is located in Pakistan’s Mansehra District, a lovely hill station and tourist attraction in the well-known green-carpeted Kaghan Valley. Shogran Valley & Sri Paye Meadows have become the most favourite spots due to their breathtaking landscape and being a short drive from Islamabad. However, it will be no mistake to say that the serenity, nature, and picturesque dreamland of Shogran have no equal in the rest of Pakistan.

Whether it’s the thickly wooded summits, the meadows at the top, or the spectacular bird’s-eye view of the surrounding areas, this location is a fairyland.

A trip to northern Pakistan is a must to take in your life.

Siri Paye Meadows

One of the most beautiful resorts in the Kaghan Valley is Siri Paye Meadows. There are myths regarding its unique name, Siri (head) and Paye (foot).

Some believe that a Hindu lady named Siri was in love with a boy named Paye from Kaghan. They believe that this place was named after their divine love.

Another myth is that a strange lion ate a goat but left its feet and head mounted. The beauty of Siri Paye lies in its lush green landscapes and snow-capped mountains.

This place can get on nerves because of its matchless beauty. Travellers find it an awesome place for trekking. They love to visit this place to quench the thirst of their eyes.

Kaghan

On your tour to Naran Kaghan Valley, you may not find any attractions in Kaghan. There is a small market set along Naran road, and as such, no place to get fascinated. Lalazaar is a famous tourist attraction, but for families, it’s not recommended at all.

Naran

A small town located 120 Kilometres from Mansehra City, while entering the town, a giant glacier welcomes you, the valley is set along the River Kunhar and the stream of Lake Saif ul Malook. The oldest tourist attraction of Pakistan welcomes nearly 1 lac tourists each year from mid-June to mid-November.

Whether you are standing beside a roaring river tracking through pine-scented forests, or shipping chai under a sky ablaze with stars, Narayan awakens a sense of wonder.

Balakot

In Balakot, you can witness the crystal clear waters of the Kunhar River, flowing through the heart of Balakot. It is an ideal spot for photographers, picnic lovers, and relaxation. If you are an adventure enthusiast, you can go river rafting on the Kunhar River for an adrenaline-packed experience. Explore the scenic trails around Balakot with the tour guide.

Ansoo Lake

In the province of khyber pakhtunkhwa, tear lake is situated in the Kaghan Valley. Opposite to the queen of the mountain, you can experience the Ansoo Lake. The trek to Ansoolake is tough, but the views are worth experiencing.

The lake itself is a must-watch. Sometimes, due to foggy weather, tourists can’t see the tear lake properly, but some lucky people get an experience. It is said that Mir Muhammad Tahir, who discovered this lake, named it Ansoo Lake due to its shape. Seeing this place with my family is a lifetime memory. This is one of the best places to visit in Pakistan’s northern areas.

Manure Valley

This amazing valley is ideal for photographers because it has unlimited scenic views. Manur Valley is hidden in the mountains, which makes it more mysterious.  A beautiful rest house, Bayari, is the last Jeepable point here. The Manoor valley lacks electricity, roads, and health centres.

Unfortunately, the roads to this valley are very bumpy and poorly structured. That’s why you can travel to this place with your family. But if you are an adventure lover, you can experience this valley with friends. The valley has a total of 14 villages in an area of 14 kilometres. A poorly structured, bumpy road leads to Manoor Valley. The best way to reach the Mansehra Naran Jalkhad Road is on foot instead of using jeeps.

Saiful Malook Lake

Alpine glacier lake is located about 7 Kilometres from Naran Bazaar and is 10,000 ft above sea level. The famous story of the Prince of Persia is associated with Saif ul Malook Lake, and the local guide used to tell fairy tales. There is a myth that a Persian prince fell in love with a fairy at this place

Babusar Top

70 Kilometers from Naran, a mountain pass at the north connecting Thak Nala with Chilas is also a famous destination while on your tour to Naran Kaghan Valley. You can experience cool breezy weather in summer at Babusar Top.

Lulusar lake

The lake is heavenly and beautiful. The place has a scenic location with no pollution or noise. The lake is divine with pure natural beauty and zero artificial beauty. The natural beauty and atmosphere of the Lulusar Lake are mesmerising.

The road to the lake is well structured, but during the rainy season, it is quite dangerous since it gets slippery and sliding can be deadly here.

Noori Top

Noori top is stunning, with snow-covered peaks on the border between KPK and Kashmir. They attract tourists because of their lush green meadows, captivating attractions and soothing breeze. This is an ideal place for hiking lovers.

For summer vacations, you can visit this place with your family as they offer a comfortable stay and tourist places.
